Here we go: the prototype is live

Ideas are a funny thing: plenty of people have them, that's usually not the problem. Turning an idea into something real is a different matter entirely.

My idea is a big one: an online platform for artists and art lovers. As an art lover I want to be able to browse and hear about my favourite artists without having to fight an algorithm. As an artist I don't want to have to dump my work into the social media ether like just another cat video, only to get a bit of attention for it. That's what Conflavo is meant to be. That's my idea.

I'm going first

Now I want to find people who share this vision. Over the past few weeks I've been working on a still very rough prototype. It's meant to show you: I'm serious about this, and I can actually build it. But a project like this needs more than one developer. It needs artists who bring the platform to life. It needs people with marketing expertise who make it known. It needs testers, editors, networkers, more developers, more artists and more sellers.
